On Tuesday morning around 2:50, the Bellefontaine Police Department was dispatched to the 200 block of Pratt Street in reference to a male and female fighting in the street.

When officers arrived they found Anthony Tyrone Johnson walking on the porch of the residence.

They also noticed a passenger sitting in a gold SUV.

As officers began approaching the vehicle, Johnson yelled from the porch to get away and stated the officer had no business being by his vehicle.

The person sitting in the passenger seat was identified as Anna Morris.

While talking with Morris, authorities observed a green metal grinder in plain view on the center console. There were multiple Cigarillos, used to roll marijuana blunts, laying next to the grinder.

Anna initially claimed the grinder was a jewelry box and then said it was a tobacco grinder.

As a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, police found the grinder to contain ground pills and green particles. On top of the center console were a dispensary bag containing marijuana and a single red pill consistent with methamphetamine or fentanyl.

In the center console, a baggie was found containing marijuana and an additional baggie.

In the rear seat, a grocery bag was found containing three additional bags all of which contained marijuana, along with a small baggie of marijuana and a knotted baggie containing white oblong pills imprinted “M 367.” The pills were identified as a schedule II controlled substance.

Additional dispensary baggies containing marijuana were found, along with a black magnetic box commonly used to hide narcotics under vehicles, and a digital scale with white residue on it.

Morris was placed under arrest for possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

Morris’ purse was searched and found to contain five orange round pills imprinted “AN 415”, identified as a schedule III controlled substance. A small baggie containing marijuana and a glass pipe with burnt ends was also in her purse.

Morris was transported to the Logan County Jail.

She was lodged on possession of a schedule II controlled substance, a felony of the 5th degree, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

This report will be forwarded to the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office.
