Friday night, while on patrol in the parking lot of the Super 8 Motel in Bellefontaine, officers saw Nathaniel Clem sitting in his vehicle without it running.
Knowing that Clem was on parole for felony drug charges and that drug activity is common in the area, officers asked Clem to step out of the vehicle.
He then consented to a personal and vehicle search.
Inside the vehicle, officers located two needles, a Suboxone film, and a baggie of Methamphetamine.
Clem was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail where he was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Schedule III Drugs, Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments, and Parole Violation.
