For the first time in over 25 years, a new lodging option for visitors to the Indian Lake region is open and ready for business.

Several dignitaries, investors, and community members attended the official ribbon cutting at the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites on Tuesday morning, hosted by the Indian Lake and Logan County Chambers of Commerce.

The hotel features over 50 guest rooms (some equipped for extended stays), a saline indoor pool, a business center, and offers a complimentary breakfast to guests.

General Manager Sue Webster talks about some of the hotel amenities:

Logan County Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ben Vollrath said that the newest member of the Cobblestone, along with the Cobblestone Hotel in Bellefontaine, fills a need that was discovered while in the planning stages for these hotels:

As previously reported on peakofohio.com, the Russells Point Village Council voted unanimously in May of 2023 to allow the hotel construction project to move forward.

Construction began in October of 2023, with the official groundbreaking taking place in November of that year.

President of Development for Cobblestone Hotels, Jeremy Griesbach, emphasized that the focus of Cobblestone has always been on bringing quality lodging options to rural areas that often get overlooked by bigger companies.

He pointed to the company motto, “Big City Quality, Small Town Values,” as evidence of their commitment to the area.

Cobblestone Hotels, based in Neenah, Wisconsin, has 165 locations open or under construction around the country.
