Interest is growing in bringing back the former DeGraff Country Fair, and local residents are invited to help shape what that could look like.
After conversations with community members in the DeGraff and Quincy areas, organizers say there appears to be strong interest in exploring the possibility of reviving the longtime community tradition.
To continue that conversation, an open community meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, at 6:00 p.m. at the main shelter house next to the basketball court in DeGraff Village Park.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and join neighbors for an evening of organized discussion focused on the future of the fair and ways to strengthen the Riverside communities.
Organizers say the meeting is intended to be a respectful, productive conversation where everyone has an opportunity to share ideas.
Community members are also encouraged to spread the word and invite others who may be interested in helping explore the possibility of reestablishing the DeGraff Country Fair.
