Washington Township Police arrested a Russells Point woman Tuesday afternoon following reports of vandalism at the Indian Lake spillway and spillway bridge.

Police say 25-year-old Teagan Baker was taken into custody around noon and charged with criminal damaging, criminal trespass, and criminal mischief.

According to reports, two witnesses observed Baker spray-painting phrases—including “f**k ICE” and other graffiti—on the structures.

The witnesses remained at the scene and provided officers with updates on Baker’s location, helping police track her down.

Baker admitted to the vandalism, which authorities said was clearly politically motivated.

Washington Township Police Chief Michael Thompson praised the community for its quick response.

“I’d also like to remind anyone in the future, if they consider damaging property, they should know that in Washington Township, our residents are alert and report suspicious activity,” Chief Thompson said. “Folks who damage property should plan to be located, arrested, and incarcerated by the Washington Township Police Department. We have absolutely zero tolerance for it.”
