Several state highways in Logan County will be affected by ongoing construction and maintenance work over the coming weeks, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT).

All work is weather-dependent, and motorists are encouraged to check OHGO.com for real-time updates and traffic advisories.

Current Construction Impacts:

  • State Route 273 Bridge Replacement
State Route 273 is reduced to one lane between Oakridge Drive and Shady Lane. A temporary traffic signal maintains traffic flow. The lane restriction is scheduled to remain in place through Friday, July 18, while crews work on a bridge replacement.
  • U.S. Route 33 Resurfacing
U.S. Route 33 is down to one lane in each direction between State Route 540 and State Route 117 for a long-term resurfacing project. Work began on Monday, April 14, and is expected to continue through July. Lane restrictions are in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times.
  • State Route 273 Repaving
In addition to the bridge work, another section of State Route 273 between U.S. Route 68 and the Union/Logan County Line will have intermittent single-lane restrictions. Flaggers will be directing traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, through September as crews repave the roadway.
  • State Route 274 Lane Restrictions
Repaving continues on State Route 274 between U.S. Route 68 and Sandusky Street. Expect intermittent single-lane closures from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through September, with flaggers managing traffic.
  • State Route 292 Repaving
Similar lane restrictions are in place on State Route 292 between Hamilton Street and State Route 47. Crews are repaving the road and will be working weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through September, with traffic maintained by flaggers.

Drivers are reminded to slow down in work zones and remain alert for changing traffic patterns and construction equipment.
