Bellefontaine High School senior Nolan Core earned a prestigious academic award on Monday.
Core received the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award in Columbus.
There is one recipient per county.
Core earned a $250 scholarship and a plaque for his achievement.
He plans to attend Ohio Wesleyan University to study pre-med and chemistry.
Nolan’s parents are Cliff and Sara Core.
