Coshocton Man Arrested for Drug Possession; Fictitious Registration

On Tuesday afternoon, Washington Township Police officers were on patrol in the school zone on State Route 274 near State Route 235 and observed a vehicle driven by Paul Parks, 45 of Coshocton, traveling at 32 mph in a 20 mph zone.

Upon making contact with Parks, signs of drug use were observed. The vehicle registration he presented was fake and he was asked for consent to search his person. During a consent search, officers located a plastic bag containing methamphetamine in his pocket.

Parks was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail. He was charged with possession of drugs, speed, and fictitious registration.
