Cosmetology juniors celebrate milestone at Annual Shear Ceremony

Cosmetology juniors reached an important milestone on their path toward professional careers on Thursday, successfully completing Hair Cutting 101 and receiving their first pair of professional shears during the program’s annual Shear Ceremony.

The ceremony marks a significant step in each student’s cosmetology education, symbolizing their transition from foundational learning to hands-on, professional-level training. Earning their first set of shears brings students one step closer to achieving their Ohio cosmetology license.
