The Board of Logan County Commissioners presented a $25,000 contribution check to Lutheran Community Services (LCS) toward the construction of their new building located at 820 West Sandusky Avenue in Bellefontaine this morning.
County Commissioner Mike Yoder explains why the contribution to Lutheran Community Services will be beneficial for the community:
The support for LCS’s Capital Campaign comes from all sectors of government including:
$200,000 from the State of Ohio
$25,000 from Logan County
$5,000 from the City of Bellefontaine
“I am thrilled that the state, county, and city all recognize the promise and potential of our capital project. This new building will allow us to serve approximately 50% more people through our food pantry and thrift store”, says Executive Director Kim Collum.
The new building is available for tours today. Contact Executive Director Kim Collum at 937-592-9914 for more information if you would like to schedule a tour or have any further questions.
