County Engineer’s Office seeking public comments on an upcoming project

The Logan County Engineer’s Office is seeking comments from the public regarding a proposed project for County Road 18 in Liberty Township taking place in late 2023.

The engineer’s office is planning to perform a profile improvement project on CR 18. The project will begin approximately 1,000 feet to the south of Township Road 200 and end just south of TR 200.

It is estimated this section of road will be closed to all traffic for a maximum of 30 days sometime between July 1, 2023, and September 1, 2023.

The engineer’s office is seeking comments from local emergency services, schools, and public transportation services regarding the project. Comments are requested to be sent in by October 31st.

The intersection of CR 18 and TR 200 will remain open.

The county engineer’s office will post detour signs using County Road 43, County Road 31, and County Road 11.
