Bellefontaine Police received a call late Wednesday night that Jasper Scarberry, 23, of Belle Center, shared nude photos of a female without her consent.
The female victim told officers that she discovered Scarberry texted nude photos of her to another male.
The victim said Scarberry took Polaroid photos she gave him and created a video on his phone to send to the male. She also told officers she never gave him consent to make the video and specifically told him to never share the pictures with anyone.
According to the victim, Scarberry said sending the video was an accident and that he only “did it for the money”.
Bellefontaine Police spoke with Scarberry who said he met the other male at a bar and the two started talking. He later sent the photographs to the male. He could not provide the name of the other male to officers.
Scarberry refused to complete a statement. The victim wished to pursue charges against him.
Jasper Scarberry was issued a summons for dissemination of image of another person and has a mandatory court appearance for April 14, 2025.
The report was forwarded to the Bellefontaine Municipal Prosecutor.
