The Logan County Engineer’s Office reports that County Road 10, from County Road 55 to U.S. 33, will be closed to through traffic for temporary centerline striping on Tuesday.

Work will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be no overnight closures.

Emergency and local traffic will be maintained using flagging personnel, but motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Drivers are urged to slow down and use extra caution in work zones.

Fog seal will remain in place for a few days, and the roadway will have unmarked no-passing zones until fall.

For safety and to allow the paint to dry effectively, motorists are advised to travel no faster than 20 mph on the first day after striping.

All scheduling is subject to weather conditions.

The Engineer’s Office thanks the public for its cooperation as crews work to improve local roads.
