A two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon at the intersection of Township Road 95 and U.S. 33 resulted in significant vehicle damage but no reported injuries.
According to authorities, a 2022 Acura MDX driven by 67-year-old Sharon Duff of Huntsville was traveling southbound on Township Road 95 when she attempted to cross U.S. 33.
Investigators say Duff entered the intersection and struck a 2024 Freightliner semi driven by 33-year-old Michael Slatzer of Obetz, who was traveling eastbound on U.S. 33.
Duff was cited for a stop sign violation.
Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Logan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 33 and Township Road 95 outside of Russells Point shortly after noon Friday.
According to initial reports from the scene, a semi-truck was traveling toward Bellefontaine from Russells Point in the right-hand lane of US 33 when a passenger vehicle pulled out from Township Road 95 into the semi’s lane of travel. The car then struck the side of the tractor portion of the semi.
Authorities reported that no injuries were sustained in the crash.
The accident temporarily shut down US 33 while crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the incident. Traffic in the area was impacted for a period of time Friday afternoon.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
