Emergency crews responded to a reported field fire Sunday evening near the intersection of County Road 57 East and U.S. Route 68 North.
According to the Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, the call came in at approximately 8:22 p.m., prompting a joint response with the Bellefontaine Fire Department.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a small field fire that had already been slowed by the efforts of the property owner.
Crews quickly brought the fire under control, then remained on scene to overhaul the area and investigate the cause.
No injuries were reported.
All units cleared the scene and returned to service around 9:00 p.m.
The Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Bellefontaine Fire Department, Logan County Sheriff’s Office, and Bellefontaine Police Department.
