Several dozen people gathered in downtown Bellefontaine Saturday afternoon as part of nationwide “No Kings” protests.
Participants held signs, chanted, played music, and drew honks from passing vehicles.
According to bystanders, a man drove past the gathering, making obscene gestures and yelling profanities.
Witnesses said the same man was later involved in a minor crash, rear-ending a vehicle that was backing out of a parking spot on Main Street.
Law enforcement has not released details from the accident, and it is unclear if any citations were issued or if there were injuries.
More details are expected to be released on Monday.
