Wednesday evening, officers from the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol when they conducted a traffic stop on William Cunningham Jr, 48, of Lakeview, for a turn signal violation.
As the officer spoke with Cunningham, he showed several signs of impairment.
Cunningham was taken into custody and transported to the Bellefontaine Police Department where he blew a .193 BAC, over two times the legal limit.
He was then lodged in the Logan County Jail charged with OVI, driving under suspension, and a turn signal violation.
