Bellefontaine Police were called to a home on West Sandusky Avenue Friday night for an unresponsive female on the building’s doorstep.
Upon arrival, officers found Cheyanne Banks, 37, of Dayton, resting on the stairs. Banks refused to answer the officers when they asked her for identification and became belligerent when they continued to press for answers. She remained confrontational throughout the investigation and was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
She was transported to Logan County Jail without further incident.
