According to the Indian Lake State Park, the wood debris drop-off at the helipad parking lot location, along State Route 366 in Russells Point, is now closed.
After the March tornado, this area had been temporarily used to help with cleanup efforts allowing residents, contractors, and volunteers to drop off tornado-related wood debris.
They appreciate the community’s efforts in using this site, and due to the progress in cleanup, this site is no longer needed.
You are asked to please stay out of this area and allow contractors space to clean it up.
If you’re looking for alternative options to dispose of tornado-related wood debris, it can be taken to Emil Davis Park in Lakeview.
