Early Sunday morning, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an intoxicated person passed out on a front porch in DeGraff.
When deputies arrived at the home on the 200 block of North Main Street they found Corey Smith, 43, of rural Degraff, sitting on the front porch.
Smith appeared confused and couldn’t remember where he was.
He told deputies he had been drinking since 3:00 PM that day.
Smith also said he had been at a bar, but he didn’t know how he got to the house.
When asked if he walked or drove to the location, Corey said he walked.
Smith was unsteady on his feet and seemed disoriented, asking deputies what street he was on.
Because of his heavy intoxication and inability to take care of himself, deputies arrested Corey for disorderly conduct.
He was handcuffed and taken to the Logan County Jail.
