Monday morning, shortly after 7:00 AM, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports that Weston Giffith, 26, of DeGraff, was cited after a single-vehicle crash on Township Road 45 near Township Road 33.
Deputies report that Griffith was driving a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis westbound when the vehicle went left of center, drove off the road, and hit a tree on the passenger side.
Giffith, who has been under a non-compliance driving suspension since December 12, 2024, was cited for failure to control and driving under suspension.
Authorities also noticed the vehicle’s registration had expired on May 28, 2024.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported.
