DeGraff Man Injured in Vehicle Crash

Michael Kizer, 42, of DeGraff, was treated for suspected minor injuries following a vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon.

Kizer was cited for failure to control after losing control of his vehicle in the 300 block of South Main Street in DeGraff.

According to deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Kizer was just seconds away from his home when he failed to negotiate a curve.

His vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.

Kizer reported that his cell phone fell from its holder, and when he attempted to retrieve it, he drove off the road.

The crash caused disabling damage to the vehicle. Riverside EMS responded and assisted at the scene.

Authorities remind motorists to stay focused while driving to prevent similar incidents.
