A Zanesfield man was arrested Monday after allegedly attacking his mother and her fiancé at a mobile home on Alpine Parkway.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called around 10:30 AM to a domestic violence complaint.

The victims told deputies that 30-year-old Austin Miller hit them multiple times in the head, causing swelling and redness.

Law enforcement reported signs of a struggle inside the home, including a hole in a bathroom door and a silver necklace on the floor.

Drug paraphernalia and empty beer cans were also found in Miller’s bedroom.

Miller had fled to a neighbor’s trailer but was later found, arrested, and transported to the Logan County Jail.

He faces two counts of misdemeanor domestic violence.
