The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to three separate auto accidents within 24 hours.

At 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies say a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze driven by 27-year-old Salina Felver of West Liberty went off the right side of State Route 638.

The vehicle traveled through a ditch, struck yard landscaping and bricks, and hit a row of trees before coming to rest in a front yard.

Felver was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital with possible injuries and cited for failure to control.

Around 3:15 p.m., a 2015 Mazda CX-5 operated by 64-year-old Phillip Ritter of West Liberty collided with a 2012 Dodge Journey driven by 43-year-old April Daugherty, also of West Liberty, at the intersection of Township Road 190 and US 68.

No injuries were reported.

Ritter was cited for failing to yield at an intersection, and both vehicles were towed.

Just after midnight on Wednesday morning, deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on the 8700 block of U.S. 68.

A 2016 Volvo driven by 43-year-old Suhail Shwaikieh of Powell went off the road, overcorrected, overturned onto its right side, and struck a mailbox and utility pole.

Shwaikieh was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital with suspected minor injuries and cited for failure to control.

His vehicle was towed from the scene as well.
