Riverside students received a positive reminder about safe driving Thursday morning, thanks to Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy and Riverside School Resource Officer Drew Dixon.
Deputy Dixon spoke with students as they arrived at school and handed out gift cards to those wearing their seatbelts.
“Thank you to Deputy Dixon for taking the time to remind students about driving safely,” school officials said. “It’s a simple but important step in keeping our students safe on the road.”
The initiative was designed to promote seatbelt use and encourage safe driving habits among young drivers.
