The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released details of a crash that happened Friday, September 19, at the intersection of US 33 and County Road 57.
According to troopers, 40-year-old Christopher Zichefoose of Bellefontaine was driving his 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection.
Zichefoose pulled into the path of a 2022 Honda CR-V driven by 27-year-old Jacob Hausch of Pinkerton, who was traveling on US 33.
Zichefoose was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital by Lakeview EMS with minor injuries.
Hausch, his 27-year-old passenger Emily Hausch, and their infant were also taken to Lima Memorial Hospital by Huntsville EMS with minor injuries.
Zichefoose was cited for failure to yield.
