Congratulations to Czar Dickson and Cambria Tuttle for being recognized as the Indian Lake High School Seniors of the Month for September 2024!
Czar Dickson, son of Ryan and Beth Dickson from Lakeview has made a significant impact at ILHS through his involvement in various activities. He has participated in wrestling, football, Key Club, BPA, the Laker Leadership Council, Science Club, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Additionally, he has maintained the Honor Roll and received recognition at the Honda Academic Achievement Breakfast. Czar, who served as Class President, envisions a day as principal filled with fun activities like kickball, dodgeball, movies, and video games. His favorite school memory is winning an opening wrestling match by pin during his freshman year. Czar draws inspiration from his parents, teachers, coaches, and friends. Recently, he has been reading *The Great Gatsby*. His advice to parents is to encourage their children while ensuring they feel appreciated. Czar regrets not fully enjoying events in the moment and plans to attend a prestigious university to major in aerospace or molecular engineering, with hopes of continuing his wrestling career.
Cambria Tuttle, daughter of Greg and Michele Tuttle from Huntsville is a dedicated student involved in numerous school activities. She plays varsity soccer and has participated in Meistersingers, Vocal Jazz, Key Club, and Student Council as President. Cambria has received a Leadership Award, maintained a 4.0 Honor Roll, and been recognized as a Student-Athlete. Her favorite school memory is being on the Homecoming Court during her junior year. She finds inspiration in her parents and her two older brothers, Jalon and Camdon. Recently, she has enjoyed reading books by Colleen Hoover and various mysteries. Cambria advises parents to teach their children the value of hard work and perseverance. Interestingly, she has no regrets about her high school experience, as she has embraced many activities. Next year, Cambria plans to attend college to study Elementary Education, keeping her options open for her future.
