Bellefontaine Police arrested a man on Wednesday evening after an incident on East Brown Avenue.
Officers were called around 5 p.m. to the 200 block of East Brown after reports of an intoxicated man yelling from his porch and calling for police.
When officers arrived, they found 42-year-old Jeremiah Goings heavily intoxicated.
According to the report, Goings shouted at officers, refused commands to calm down, and repeatedly took an aggressive stance toward them.
Despite several warnings for disorderly conduct, police say his behavior continued, and he was placed under arrest.
Goings resisted arrest and was tased before being taken into custody.
Medics were called to remove the taser probes, and Goings was evaluated on scene before being transported to the Logan County Jail.
Once at the jail, law enforcement reported that Goings became uncooperative with jail staff and was placed in a restraint chair.
He was lodged on charges of persistent disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
