Monday, officers from the Bellefontaine Police Department were dispatched to a home in the 1300 block of South Detroit for a dispute between a man and woman.
Upon their arrival at the home, officers ran into William Dolan Jr.
They knew that Dolan had an active warrant for his arrest.
Dolan was placed under arrest and searched because he stated that the pants he had on did not belong to him and there may be a pipe in one of the pockets.
Officers located a pipe with a white hazy coating inside, in Dolan’s left front pants pocket, and a small empty baggie.
The pipe looked like it used to smoke methamphetamine.
Dolan was lodged in the Logan County Jail on a parole violation warrant and charged with Drug Paraphernalia.
