“Don’t Give Up” Sign Rally Held to Encourage

A “Don’t Give Up” Sign Rally was held Friday afternoon at the Logan County Courthouse.

The “Don’t Give Up” Sign Rallies are an opportunity to spread positive messages in downtown Bellefontaine for the community to see.

The Recovery Zone of Logan County, Mary Rutan Hospital, Ohio Hi-Point Hope Squad, Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol Services Board of Logan and Champaign Counties, local survivors, and volunteers held signs of hope and encouragement to spread messages of acceptance and light for those that passed by.

Sign Rallies are held twice a year. One is held in May for Mental Health Awareness Month and the other is held in September for Suicide Prevention Month.

Dana Fullerton, a local survivor, brought the “Don’t Give Up” Signs Movement to Logan and Champaign Counties four years ago.
