Kicking off the spring season in style, Downtown Bellefontaine is hosting a family-friendly Easter Egg-Stravaganza this Friday, as their First Friday, April event. Mickey Groves, Downtown Bellefontaine Director explains the event:
Presented by Citizens Federal Savings & Loan, the free activities begin at 1 PM and include a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt at Putt and Play Golf Center. Mary Rutan Health (found at Rainbow Row’s purple building) will hand out complimentary bike helmets after professionally fitting them and will also offer face painting. You can also take part in a scavenger hunt, (be sure to download the GooseChase App) and check out the craft activity at Richwood Bank.

Over on Court Street, you’ll find food trucks (Freyhof’s Funnel Cakes, R Smokehouse & The Flying Pepper), a live petting zoo from Marmon Valley Farm (beginning at 4 PM), and some sidewalk chalk fun with LoCo Art.
Don’t forget the Easter Bunny will be in attendance, and you can get photos with him at The Photo Booth on Main Street. $25 will get you a digital folder of photos.

Next month: B-Town Brew Fest is back. Mark your calendars for May 5th from 5-8 pm. You will get 10 tasting tickets at check-in to use throughout downtown to sample a variety of Ohio-made beer, and even an exclusive brew from our friends at Roundhouse Depot Brewing. Four Acre Clothing will be on-site screen printing special edition shirts. Downtown will be sprinkled with food trucks and plenty of activities to participate in along your tasting route. Things to do will include Human Billiards, Kick Darts, and a Mechanical Bull.
