Late Thursday night, a Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy saw a vehicle with an obstructed license plate traveling south on US 68 near Rickett’s Road in West Liberty.
Initiating a traffic stop, the deputy recognized the driver, Alfredo Dominguez, 32, of Springfield, from previous traffic stops.
In past encounters, Dominguez did not have a valid driver’s license, and again after speaking with dispatch, the deputy confirmed he still did not have a valid license.
Due to the repeat offense, Dominguez was arrested for driving without a valid operator’s license and issued a citation for having an obstructed license plate.
He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
The vehicle was then towed from the scene.
