An 18-year-old Bellefontaine driver escaped injury Wednesday afternoon after losing control of her vehicle and striking multiple utility structures.
The Bellefontaine Police Department reports the crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. on South Township Road 179, near Blazing Trail.
Arrisa Carver was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue northbound when she said she hit a patch of ice and began sliding off the right side of the roadway.
Carver told officers she corrected to avoid a nearby fire hydrant but overcorrected, sending her vehicle off the left side of the road.
The Nissan then struck a phone line post and a utility pole before coming to a stop.
Carver was not injured.
She was cited for failure to control.
