A Bellefontaine man was cited following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 33 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
Just before 3:00 p.m., Robert Shields, 27, was driving a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound on U.S. 33, east of State Route 347, when he lost control of the vehicle.
The Jeep crossed the center line and median, striking a 2024 Dodge Ram traveling in the opposite direction.
The Dodge Ram was driven by Laquarius Nelson, 25, of Eatonton, Georgia.
Shields was transported by Perry Emergency Medical Services to Memorial Hospital in Marysville with suspected minor injuries.
He was cited for failure to control.
His vehicle was towed from the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
