A 20-year-old man from Enon escaped with minor injuries after his vehicle ended up in a pond Wednesday morning.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Reese Williams was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on County Road 29 just before 6 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve.
The car went off the left side of the road, struck a ditch, crossed a driveway, and landed in a pond.
Williams was able to free himself from the submerged vehicle and swim to shore.
He was transported to Urbana Mercy Hospital by Mac-o-Chee EMS with suspected minor injuries.
