The Logan County Sheriff’s Office handled a crash Wednesday shortly before 8 p.m. on State Route 117 outside of Huntsville.
According to the report, 53-year-old Melissa Campbell of Diberville, Mississippi, was driving a 2025 Toyota Corolla when she fell asleep behind the wheel.
The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox.
Campbell was not injured in the crash.
The Toyota sustained functional damage and was towed from the scene by Dad’s Towing.
