Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a traffic accident on 33 Friday evening after a vehicle was forced off the road by an approaching semi with a trailer.
The driver, Angel Jarrells, 34, of Marysville, was driving west on US 33 nearing the SR347 exit when she noticed the semi crossing into her lane as it was trying to pass another vehicle.
She claimed it forced her to run off the right side of the road to avoid being struck.
As a result, her vehicle crashed through the Exit 77 sign, destroying it.
Jarrells was not injured in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
