A 33-year-old Tricia Tracey, of Marion, is facing charges after being involved in a hit-and-run accident on Monday evening.

The incident happened when Tracey’s vehicle traveled off the road and struck a residence on County Road 222.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Tracey’s vehicle initially hit a bush and a concrete post before crashing into a nearby home.

After the crash, Tracey left the scene.

Later that evening, law enforcement found Tracey driving her vehicle on State Route 274 near US 33.

When questioned, she told deputies she had been driving alone since leaving her shift at Honda Transmission.

Tracey reported feeling unwell and did not remember the crash, initially claiming she had struck a deer.

She explained that she had been trying to find her way home but had become lost and didn’t have access to a GPS.

Deputies administered field sobriety tests to Tracey, which she passed, indicating that she was not under the influence.

However, she was cited for leaving the scene of a crash and issued a summons to appear in court.
