On Wednesday evening, the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home on Blackhawk Path in Lakeview.
A large amount of Methamphetamine, more than 800 Suboxone pills, Marijuana, $2,470 dollars in cash, and a handgun were recovered from inside the residence.
David Mathews, 62, was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
The Task Force conducted a lengthy investigation into Mathews after he was identified by the Task Force as a large source for the distribution of methamphetamine into the Indian Lake region.
Numerous additional charges are being forwarded to the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office.
