HomeLocal NewsTask Force Makes Drug Bust in Lakeview WednesdayTask Force Makes Drug Bust in Lakeview WednesdayThu, October 5, 2023 by April KingSHARE NOW On Wednesday evening, the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home on Blackhawk Path in Lakeview.A large amount of Methamphetamine, more than 800 Suboxone pills, Marijuana, $2,470 dollars in cash, and a handgun were recovered from inside the residence.David Mathews, 62, was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated Trafficking in Methamphetamine.The Task Force conducted a lengthy investigation into Mathews after he was identified by the Task Force as a large source for the distribution of methamphetamine into the Indian Lake region.Numerous additional charges are being forwarded to the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office.
