The Logan County Unified Drug Task Force arrested Aaron Bensman, 49, of Bellefontaine following a traffic stop at the County Road 18 and County Road 11 intersection Saturday night.
Bensman was wanted on a Task Force warrant for trafficking in methamphetamine.
He was transported to the Logan County Jail where a large amount of meth was recovered on his person.
The arrest was the result of a month-long investigation into the distribution of large amounts of methamphetamine in the city of Bellefontaine.
Additional charges are being forwarded to the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office.
