Two people were arrested after a drug investigation in Lakeview earlier this month.
According to reports released Monday from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force and the Washington Township Police Department served a search warrant on Saturday, May 2nd, at a home on Midway Avenue in Lakeview.
Investigators say the task force had been conducting a lengthy investigation into Richard Turner and Mary Kemp, who were suspected of transporting large amounts of crystal methamphetamine to Lakeview from another Ohio county.
During the search, authorities reportedly recovered and seized more than 26 grams of crystal meth.
Turner and Kemp were both arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking in a Schedule II drug.
