A 33-year-old woman was arrested Monday night after deputies responded to a domestic violence call and discovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at a home in Belle Center.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office received a call shortly after 8:00 PM from a witness reporting that Jessica Dudgeon, 33, was acting violently and possibly under the influence of drugs.

The witness had left the house and was waiting nearby, saying they did not feel safe returning while Dudgeon was still there.

Deputies met with the witness, who said Dudgeon had been calling and texting them throughout the day using foul language and making accusations.

Once the witness arrived home, Dudgeon reportedly became aggressive, yelling and making accusations.

According to the report, Dudgeon smashed a coffee pot and a TV, threw a stool through a wall, and damaged a storm door before allegedly spitting on the witness, prompting the call to authorities.

While one deputy interviewed the witness, others went to the house and spoke with Dudgeon.

Deputies said she was sweating, talking fast, and acting erratically, signs of possible drug use.

When asked, Dudgeon admitted to having a meth pipe, which she handed over.

She later showed deputies a small baggie of methamphetamine she had hidden in her bedroom.

Dudgeon, who is currently on probation in both Allen and Logan counties, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Logan County Jail.

She is facing charges of aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drug abuse instruments.
