The Urbana Fire Division (UFD) responded to a structure fire in the 300 block of East Ward Street early Wednesday morning.
The call came in around 12:30 a.m., and crews, along with mutual aid from the West Liberty Fire Department, quickly arrived on scene.
Firefighters immediately began working to put out the blaze and searched the home, and found that no one was inside.
The fire was brought under control by 1:05 a.m., with damage contained to the room of origin.
One occupant received treatment at the scene for injuries related to the fire.
The Urbana Fire Division extended gratitude to all supporting agencies, including AES and the Urbana Police Division, for their assistance.
A damage assessment is ongoing, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
