A medical emergency led to a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening around 5:30.
The Bellefontaine Police Department reports Christian Fischer, 39, of East Liberty, was exiting westbound off the Route 33 and 68 ramp and lost consciousness. He failed to negotiate off the ramp curb and went off the roadway striking a culvert.
He was not wearing his seat belt and suffered from minor injuries.
Fischer was cited for failure to control.
His vehicle had major damage.
