Logan County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested Donald Wilson, 82, of Bellefontaine, after an ongoing investigation into child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to investigators, Wilson, who was previously convicted in 1991 for pandering obscenity involving a minor, was found to have downloaded multiple confirmed CSAM files from the internet.
A search warrant executed at Wilson’s residence on Tuesday led to the discovery of additional evidence, resulting in his arrest.
Wilson is currently lodged in the Logan County Jail and faces twenty counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor (creating), as well as thirteen counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor (possession).
Authorities say additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
