According to the Bellefontaine Police Department, an 80-year-old man was involved in a two-vehicle crash on Gunntown Road on Wednesday shortly after 7:00 AM.
Herbert Yoder, of Bellefontaine, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado westbound when he crossed the turn lane and then the center line, striking a 2020 Toyota Corolla operated by 52-year-old Clinton Oaks, also of Bellefontaine, head-on.
Yoder was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS for possible injuries.
He was also issued a citation for left of center.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
