The Top of Ohio Patriots (TOP) has named Don Epps as the new Chairman of the Board.

TOP is a local chapter of The 9/12 Project, which aims to bring the community and nation back to the unity and spirit that Americans felt on September 12, 2001.

With Don Epps leading the charge, the group continues its mission to defend liberty, stay informed on important issues, and encourage people to speak up for their beliefs.

TOP believes that the unity Americans shared after the September 11 attacks, regardless of political party, is more important than ever and works to restore that sense of togetherness in today’s world.

As part of this mission, Top of Ohio Patriots will hold its first public meeting of 2025 on March 20th at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center in Bellefontaine from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

The program for the evening includes:

  • Brenda Mitchell will give an update on the Convention of States project in Ohio, which calls for changes to the U.S. Constitution to impose fiscal limits on the federal government and set term limits for Congress.
  • Phil Morse and Jim Wolever will talk about industrial solar projects and how they are affecting communities. Phil will cover the bigger picture, while Jim will explain how these projects impact Logan County and offer advice on how people can take action.
  • Harry Stratton, a senior at Benjamin Logan High School, will perform live from 6:30 – 7:00 PM to kick off the evening. Harry, a talented guitarist, was selected for the All-State Jazz Band Ensemble, an impressive honor awarded to only a few students statewide.
