The Bellefontaine Rotary Club welcomed its newest member during its weekly meeting Monday afternoon.
Matt Evans, Executive Director of the Hilliker YMCA, was officially introduced to the club.
Evans is a lifelong resident of Bellefontaine and Logan County, and said he was drawn to Rotary as a way to give back and serve the community.
Evans has been married to his wife for 38 years.
Together, they have four children—all of whom are married—and eight grandchildren.
As a fun fact shared with the club, Evans says he’s a morning person.
Rotary Club leaders say they’re excited to welcome Evans and look forward to his involvement in future service projects and community initiatives.
