Drivers in Logan County should expect several ongoing road projects and lane restrictions next week, with all work dependent on weather.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says State Route 235 between State Route 720 and the Hardin-Logan County line will be intermittently reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. as crews continue repaving.
That work is expected to continue through the fall.
Similar restrictions are planned on State Route 274 between the Rushsylvania corporation limit and State Route 273, and on State Route 366 between State Route 235 and U.S. 33.
Both projects will have intermittent single-lane traffic from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through the fall.
Drivers will also see lane restrictions on:
- State Route 117, between the Hardin-Logan County line and State Route 274, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August.
- State Route 245, between the Mad River east of West Liberty and the Champaign-Logan County line, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August.
- State Route 287, between State Route 245 and U.S. 33, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August.
- State Route 638, between U.S. 68 and Township Road 51, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through August.
Traffic in those work zones will be controlled by flaggers.
Meanwhile, State Route 274 remains closed between State Route 235 and State Route 117 for construction of the new roundabout at the State Route 274 and U.S. 33 intersection.
That closure is expected to last approximately 150 days.
The posted detour takes drivers from State Route 235 to State Route 708, U.S. 33, and State Route 117.
ODOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution around crews and equipment.
