Drivers in Champaign County will continue to see lane restrictions on several state highways this week as the Ohio Department of Transportation moves forward with resurfacing projects.
State Route 55 between Old Troy Pike and U.S. 68 will be reduced to one lane intermittently from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through August.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers while crews repave the roadway.
State Route 29 between State Route 235 and State Route 560 will also have intermittent single-lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September as resurfacing work continues.
Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone.
On State Route 245, drivers can expect intermittent one-lane traffic between Brush Lake Road and Gilbert Road from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. through September.
Flaggers will be in place while crews complete paving operations.
ODOT reminds motorists to slow down, watch for workers and equipment, and allow extra travel time when driving through construction zones.
